The front bells are affected in exactly the same way as in Grandsire Doubles or Triples. The back bells start their work a whole pull earlier, i.e. straight after the call is made.
- The bell which would have dodged 5-4 down does a double dodge in 7-6 down.
- The bell which would have dodged 7-6 down does 6 blows in 8th place.
- The bell which would have done 4 blows in 8ths place does a double dodge 6-7 up.
- The bell which would have dodged 6-7 up does a double dodge 4-5 up
