Improve Your Ringing
Branch Practices (and other events)
Once you are competent handling a bell, to improve your ringing and learn new things attending a branch practice is a good thing to do. A list of these practices is usually sent to each tower in a branch that has members; it can be found displayed in most of them. Two provisos: advanced practices are only for people who can ring a range of methods already and for doubles or minor the practice should be at a 6-bell tower and so on.
Most branches of the Bath and Wells Diocesan Association of Change Ringers run a variety of courses for their own members, details of these will be circulated to towers in the respective branches. The Frome Branch, being about the most central one, runs some courses that are open to ringers from any branch.
